A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (C.V.), Resumé, or Linkedin profile.

Proof of Address:

One of the scanned copies of a bank reference, bank statement, Utility bill, or Driver license.

It should clearly show the holder's full name along with a physical address written in English (P.O. Box addresses are not accepted).

It must be the most recent version and dated within the last 3 months.

Does my company need local directors or shareholders in Panama?

There is no need to have local directors or shareholders to form your offshore company in Panama. A company must have at least one director, but it can be yourself, irrespective of your country of citizenship, origin, or residence. This means that you can establish a Panama company with directors and shareholders who are not residents of Panama.

You can use Vepapu's Nominee Director and/or Nominee Shareholder services to hide your identity in your company formation documents as well.

Does my information get displayed publicly by the Panamanian government?

Panama is known for having regulations that provide a level of privacy for company directors, shareholders, beneficial owners, and officers. An international business company is required to file a register of directors with the registrar.

Name and address of company directors would appear on the Public Registry upon company registration. However, the details in relation to shareholders are not made public.

What are the requirements to maintain a Panama company?

A Panamanian corporation must maintain its corporate structure, which includes having at least three directors (President, Secretary, and Treasurer), as well as shareholders.

Your Panamanian corporation is required to have a local registered address in Panama

Panama does not typically require Panamanian corporations to file annual returns or tax returns, provided that the company's business activities are conducted entirely outside of Panama's jurisdiction.

There is no obligation to file audited accounts with the Panamanian authorities.

Is a physical office in Panama mandatory for incorporation?

A registered address in Panama is required to form a company; it is mandatory to incorporate a company in Panama. It is a legal requirement and without it, we cannot proceed to file the documents with the registrar for your company's incorporation.
